Hay is an absolute essential in the diet of most of our small herbivores such as rabbits, guinea pigs, degus, gerbils, hamsters and mice, so why not give them a bundle of fun to play with while they munch!
You can simply give them the rope to play with, or you could hang it up in their enclosure to get them work harder, or even hang other nibble toys from it! It is also an ideal rope to use for horses if you want to hang horse toys in stables. Of course, horses will munch through it considerably faster than small pets!
Our meadow hay rope is made by creating a handmade thick rope of meadow hay which measures approximately 3 to 3.5cm thick. You can buy it in lengths of a half metre (50cm) or 1m (100cm). If you choose more than one half-metre or one metre, then we will make your rope to the total length of your order.
As our rope is hand-spun by us using only the freshest of natural hay (which varies in texture throughout the season), thickness may vary slightly. We always use the very best meadow hay which is sourced in the UK. All orders for hay rope are made to order, so that we can make it to your required length.
Storage instructions
If you don't plan to use this product immediately, please store in a dark cool & dry place. This is because natural materials can be prone to mildew if they get damp.
